The iPhone after effects template
This after effects project has 2 versions, one for video(6 videos) and one for images(12 images) so that you can use the project with the footage that you have.
Plus the catalog/interface slides 7. You also have a placeholder for the logo at the beginning and the end as well as inside the interface.
In case you don’t want to use the interface that we have created, you also have the option to us an image of your interface.
All the text that you can see in this template can be easily changed (including the descriptions, buttons and also the interface)
We have included 2 color presets for the phone (black and white)
The colors in the background ,on the text and inside the menu can easily be changed, using our integrated color changer system, that lets you change the colors with 1 click.
The videos of the hands are included, and you can switch between male and female hands very easily.
The phone is made inside after effects, no 3d software was used, no plugins and no prerenders. EVERYTHING can be changed inside After Effects (CS3, CS4 or CS5).
On the back of the phone we have also included the apple logo, so that if you want to display the iPhone logo on the back, you can do this with one click.
In the video tutorial we will show you step by step how to do all of the above.

Is the phone pre-rendered, or is it a 3D object that can be rotated around? In other words, can I customize the camera moves?

The 3D phone in Not prerendered, it is constructed inside after effects, you can rotate it around so you can also change the camera movement.

I love the template and am working on it now. You have split the project up into images and video as separate projects. Is there an easy way to have some of each like you have on the demo video?

Thanks for contact again our support team.
There is a way to to easily have images and footage in the same project. To do this lets use the VIDEO CATALOG one.
Go to the timeline and move the indicator over the VIDEO 01 mark. We will use this placeholder as an example.
As yo see the placeholder was made for a video becaus you will see the play button inside.
Lets fix this to show an image inside without the play button.
Go to the project manager and open the OTHER COMPOS folder. Then the COMPOS folder. Then locate the PLAY_VIDEO_01 composition and open it.
Ones you get inside this composition hide all the layer related with the player system in the time line exept the VIDEO_01 layer.
Now open the VIDEO_01 composition an put your image inside. But we still have the hand pushing in the screen.
To take of the hand lets go back to the 00_MAIN_COMP composition and open the HANDS composition. Inside this composition locate the MH_06 layer
and hide it.
Make the same process for each composition that you want to add an image inside.
