Real or AI? Create studio-quality cinematic product videos for skincare
A water bottle ad with 37 million views. Studio lighting, water droplets in slow motion, the kind of cinematography that used to require a high-end commercial production house. In this tutorial I rebuild that exact ad with AI — in 15 minutes, on a laptop — and swap in our own product (Clear Burst).
If you sell skincare, beverages, or anything that benefits from a "premium beauty shot" look, this is the workflow.
Step 1: Analyze the original viral video
Drop the 37M-view ad into the AI Media Machine analyzer. It returns the cinematic recipe: macro shots, water motion, lighting setup, color grading. The aesthetic that took the original team a week is now a checklist.
Step 2: Customize the storyboard with your product
Feed the analyzer's output into the storyboard prompt. Swap the product description — Clear Burst, in this case — and upload reference images. The model carries the same studio look across every generated frame, with your bottle as the hero.
Step 3: Generate the cinematic visuals
This is where AI shines now. Water droplets, slow-motion streaks, rim lighting, dark gradient backgrounds — all generated cleanly in a few takes. The model has seen enough beauty-shot reference material that it nails the genre on the first or second pass.
Step 4: Extract and animate the shots
Pick the strongest frames. Animate each with Pro Mode — set the camera move (slow push, slow pull, slow rotate) and the AI handles the motion. Specific tip: for water shots, generate a still image of the splash and animate it forward. Cleaner than asking the model to invent water motion from scratch.
Step 5: Cinematic background music
Generate a music bed that matches the slick, premium feel. The AI Media Machine's music generator does this in one prompt. Save out a clean WAV.
Step 6: Final edit in Premiere Pro
Stitch the clips, layer the music, color-match across shots. 15 minutes total. The final ad reads as a high-end product video. I show the side-by-side at the end of the tutorial.
The result
You can't tell which one was filmed and which one was AI. That's the test the entire industry has been waiting for — and it's been quietly passed.
Make this your weekly output
One ad in 15 minutes is a demo. Five ads a week is a content engine. The AI Media Machine is the platform that makes that pace boring. $1 trial.
