After Effects Tutorial Shy Feature

Hello and welcome to this tutorial. My name is Remus Hosu for blue fx.net and this time we are going to take a look at the shy switch in AE. Sometimes, when you need to work with a lot of layers, things can get cluttered in the composition area and hard to work with. You have the option of hiding layers that are already set up, or you don’t need to adjust, such as: background layers, lights, audio layers or any other layers that you’ve already edited. So,to hide layers , first you need click the shy button for the layer. It’s the first button on the right side of the layer. Then you need to toggle the shy switch for the composition at the top of the timeline panel. If you don’t see the shy switch in the composition area, then you need to hit F4,to toggle from the the modes view to switches view. Thank you very much, I hope this short tutorial was helpful and see you again soon.
