How to create professional video ads with AI for your business

Most business owners think professional video ads require a studio, a camera crew, and a five-figure budget. They don't anymore. In this tutorial I build a real real-estate ad from a blank screen to a fully polished 45-second talking video — using the AI Cinematographer inside AI Media Machine. Same workflow drops onto a dentist, an e-commerce brand, a SaaS founder, anyone.

Three real examples first

Before the tutorial, I show three completed ads — a dentist talking head, an e-commerce product spot, and a real estate agent presenting a property. All built with the same pipeline. The point is to see what finished looks like before we build one.

The tool: AI Cinematographer

The Cinematographer is the image-to-video engine inside AIMM. You generate or upload a still, give it a motion prompt, and get back a cinematic shot with realistic camera movement, lighting persistence, and clean continuity. It's the difference between a static product photo and an ad that breathes.

Step 1: Generate the initial professional character image

Start with the subject. For real estate, that's a confident agent in business attire, neutral background, eye-level shot, professional lighting. The image generator inside AIMM bakes in the brand-safe rules — no weird hands, no morphing faces, no patterned shirts that wreck downstream consistency.

Step 2: Edit the image with AI to add props

This is the trick that elevates the ad from generic to specific. AI image editing lets me add keys in her right hand and a flower bouquet in her left — without re-rolling the whole image. The face stays consistent, the body posture holds, the new props look photographically real.

Step 3: Turn the static image into a talking video ad

Send the edited image to the Cinematographer. Add the script, choose a voice, set the duration, and let it run. 45 seconds later you've got a full-HD talking ad with lip-sync, natural micro-expressions, and a believable hand gesture toward the keys.

Reviewing the final ad

The result looks like a $3,000 production. Real movement, real voice, brand-aligned visuals. The realism gap with traditional shoots has effectively closed for short-form ad creative.

Advanced tip: refining with action prompts

If she's not showing the keys clearly, you don't re-shoot. You add an action prompt: "raises right hand showing keys at chest level, slight smile". Re-render. The Cinematographer respects directional language the way a real DP respects a director.

Same three steps in a different niche. Character → AI image edit (add tooth model) → talking video. The workflow is niche-agnostic — that's why it generalizes.
