How to create AI recipe videos with your product (no filming)
A viral cinnamon roll recipe video pulled in 1.8 million views. In this tutorial I take that exact ad apart, rebuild it shot-for-shot with AI, and drop my own brand of cinnamon (Simply Organic) into the frame — no camera, no kitchen, no food stylist.
If you're a food brand, supplement company, or anyone selling something edible, this is the workflow. Find what's already winning, then replicate it with your product baked in.
Why recreating winners beats inventing from scratch
The hard part of marketing isn't producing video — it's knowing what style of video converts. A clip with 1.8M views has already proven the hook, the pacing, and the visual language. Your job is to copy the structure and swap in your product. AI lets you do the swap in an afternoon.
Step 1: Analyze the viral reference
Drop the YouTube link into the AI Media Machine's video analyzer. It returns a full breakdown: shot list, camera movement, color palette, vibe. This becomes your storyboard brief. You're not guessing what made the video work — the analyzer tells you.
Step 2: Generate a storyboard with your product locked in
Take the analyzer's output and feed it into the storyboard prompt. Upload a reference image of your product (the Simply Organic bottle, in this case) and the model places it consistently across every generated shot. Same lighting, same angle, same cinnamon-roll aesthetic — just your bottle on the counter.
Step 3: Hero shots and animation
Some shots focus on the food. Others give your product the spotlight — full-frame, glistening label, slow rotation. I generate both, then animate them with Pro Mode: pouring, mixing, the cinnamon-roll dough rolling under the camera. Each clip is 3–6 seconds. String them together and you have a recipe video.
Step 4: Music and the final edit
The AI Media Machine generates background music to match the viral vibe — warm, pop, just-fast-enough. Then I drop everything into Premiere Pro for pacing, speed ramps, and the final cut. Total time: under an hour.
The result
Side by side, the AI version of the cinnamon roll ad is indistinguishable from the original — except mine has my product in every shot. That's the unlock. You don't need a film crew. You need a workflow that turns viral references into branded ads.
Build your recipe-video pipeline
The bottleneck isn't generation anymore — it's the workflow. Storyboard, animate, voice, music, edit. The AI Media Machine wires all 12 of those steps into one dashboard, so a single person can ship a polished food ad in an afternoon. Try it for $1.
